i'd say they are reasonably strong as i had my one for about a year and i have never had any problems with it except i did find the chainstays ever so slightly flexy. and there backround used to be in decent spec bikes years ago like your one but nowadays they sell cheap crappie argos bikes shame really init mate.
yeah your frame is a barracuda ghetto same as my old one but different colour. oh and your barracuda looks pretty good mate!
